I think we are in a "dull" period for NEO. There was a lot of "hype' surrounding its 100% success rate at SELH which AK understanderably "milked" or played on in the hope of promoting the company.
Unfortunately NEO was probably let down by Orchard not pushing through with SELH at the time and NEO has had to wear the negative consequences of that.
Many shareholders were pinning their expectations on those SELH wells and the "pipeline" ! When NEO seemed to head off on a different tangent by getting all the lease arrangements then some saw that as getting away from what they saw as the direction they expected.
And things dragged on. And AK has tried to keep the company floating. And things have not quite happened as we all would have hoped. Bad drilling results. Almost a blowout at Citrus. Part and parcel of the nature of this business but not what you hope would happen to a company that you are hoping is going to suddenly make you rich.
So present disappointment is understandable. Present loathing of NEO by some is sort of understandable but a bit over the top.
Step back a bit and take a longer term view. As I say if there is no evidence by the end of 2008 that the various projects have made any substantial headway then I may well join the chorus of doomsayers and antiNEOites.
But strangely I have hope that the goods will be delivered from one or more project.
