Hi guys , being a newb in the U plays, I decided to do bit of homewrok on just how much uranium a reactor needs.From the info I had , i found that it varies from 90 000kgs , to 4800kgs, depending on what type of reactor technology is used.
Can someone who is experienced in these matters confirm just how much is generally used ,how long until rods need to be replaced, and what style of reactors the majors are planning on building??
I find this an inportant area to study, to see if the spot price of U 308 is true to market , or just plain speculation? Apologies for putting under dyl, but couldn't post alternatively!! ...Cheers in advance...
