With regard to "sales depth", and how analysts forecast sp growth would ultimately depend on EPS and things like P/eg, but a simplistic enterprise value (EV) estimate based on $/lb and quantity of U3O8 was touched on grant64's thread. See here.
BHP and RIO, despite their size (and because of it) are disadvantaged in terms of being exposed to other metals; which increase their vulnerability in a commodities downturn eg. Cu. Which is why a pure U player is more attractive under these conditions.
If there's going to be a U boom then start getting into position.
