Whilst I can't remember the figures, I did ask the last uber driver about incomes of uber v taxis and he said that uber paid more than yellow cab or black and White. It was a fair bit more too.
Uber doesn't have the $400k cab registration of the others so the drivers are able to get more. A cab driver gets 50% of takings if they pay for their own fuel, über was much more.
