People are confusing the economics of the business of individual ride-sharing services like Uber and GoCatch with the fact that these services are disrupting traditional taxi services. Just because individual ride-sharing services are disrupting traditional taxi services does not mean that individual ride-sharing services will ever enjoy great economics as businesses.
