Blackthorn has agreed to sell its 27% interest in the Perkoa project in Burkina Faso to Glencore, which is expected to raise $12m in cash. The broker previously valued Perkoa at a lot more but is relieved BTR's exposure to what is a complex asset has now been removed.
The focus is now solely on the Kitumba copper project in Zambia. Target falls to 34c from 39c but Buy retained.
