I'm just beginning in the share market and learning as I go. Recently bought shares in SSC and am in long term for what looks to be a wild ride!! I have a question regarding UBS becoming a major shareholder...what does this mean?? From my understanding they bought between 5-6% of the shares listed in the company?? Would this be for their members superfunds ect?? Or is it actually the company itself investing in ssc? I thought they could possibly buy them to drive the price up and trade them like every other man and his dog seems to be but then with a firm like this you would think someone would be onto that?? Any info would be great
