Yep, and that's what I was trying to say above.
the only answer to that question has to be that they are trying to drive the SP up or down.
by drip feeding unmarketable parcels into the market, with the intention of causing the price to move, is manipulation. it is not a strategy to buy or sell - it is a strategy to cause the price to move in a direction they want.
and surely it would be worse if say UBS was on both the buy and the sell side, selling or buying into each other? ( are they doing that?)
a market that is not a market derived by a willing buyer and a willing seller, is not a "fair" or genuine market. It is a false or manipulated market.

if you or I did it, ASIC would grab us by the collars and haul us off.
