Jezzy, you are thinking of Citi, not UBS. Citi has been the only broker (since July 2013, don't know before that) with a negative recommendation on GEM. Citi moved to neutral in July14 and sell in Oct14.
Did further checking: Looks like UBS initiated coverage of GEM on 16 Oct 2014. No previous UBS recommendation that i could find prior to October (and the Oct advice was "initiate coverage").
Getting back to Citi. They are the only broker (of 11 brokers) currently and possibly the past 2 years with a negative sentiment on GEM -- currently, one other broker has hold; 3 have outperform (slight buy), and 6 have buy.
