Does anyone think the Govt may encourage the banks to renegotiate debt now that the banks have govt backing.

If this were the case, the govt may be interested in some sort of JV with companies wishing to purchase infrastructure/power assets. I know they are into solar (or so it seems) but the LPG Powered Stations should be a great intermediate step towards greener energy and the Govt should support this, even by giving some grants to coal fired stations to switch to gas....

I am biased but the more I think, the more biased I become with bbp.
