It's completely irrelevant - an old wives tale.

Maybe i could invent a theory that SP will come off its highs by 10% - that happens more often than gaps being filled.
Gap filling is complete fiction. A "gap" is just a price point that may or may not be hit during SP fluctuation. Nothing more significant than that
