I would like to think that DML holds all the cards based on the strength of the project and that the placement price will be relatively high. Conspriacy this and conspriacy that but I would need a pretty good story to make me belive that the recent cooling of the share price wasn't driven by the insto's who were wanting to participate in the issuance. These things tend to be based on an average trading range leading up to the announcement don't they? UBS has a nuetral (or is it hold?) on DML yet I bet they load up there high net worth client's with more enthusiasm than 'neutral'. It's BS and for me it's blatant. But what can you do? At least we are about to tick another milestone box.
The ultimate farce would be insto's creating volatility instruments (I know that exist, just not sure who's packaged them up) and flogging them off.
