I have to admit I sold out on report day when I saw the 10% instant gain get evaporated in 10mins, watches the bearish candle sticks and quickly sold. I then bought back at the low, thinking I was smart to only see that get much lower. The whole process added much more CGT, as I hadn't held for a year and I'm back in anyway buying the dips. I would have been much better just keeping hold. Sometimes it's best just to not do anything apart from top up at the lows when you can. I don't think any long term holders are worried about the current SP even if it is hard seeing capital evaporate. I know this feeling well recently, as saw 50% of my isx holding wiped in 2 days just last week.
