Well mate, in the case of coal seam gas, that means you are able to pump mind boggling amounts (as in millions of megalitres) of saline groundwater to the surface without having a serious plan of what to do with it or how to treat it or what the long term impacts might be to groundwater regimes and surface soils ... is that stringent enough for you? Sheeeesh, talk about double standards! Pretty pathetic effort from an "outformed" (as in not informed) Govt imo.
