I was thinking about just that last night ...

Imo, it is possible the Qld Govt didn't want to "whack" an entity (CNX) associated with CSIRO for the bad publicity and the very public fight that would likely have ensued.

Also, the Qld Govt was probably unwilling to fight an entity with the financial clout of LNC.

CXY on the other hand was the easy prey the Qld Govt circled and brought down ... but not out.

Sad that the Qld Govt didn't realise or didn't care that CXY imo had the purest UCG bloodline.
