The Mulpun pilot is just going to involve flaring from the first panel, like the 100-day trial at Bloodwood Creek. I understand that they are still considering the optimal commercial plant size, which would ultimately utilise gas from the first (and subsequent) panels. They have indicated that the feasibility study will be completed 4th Qtr, as ground works and drilling for the first panel progress. But yes, the bigger the better!

Recent analysis report from Bell Potter outlines that due to the extremely high Chilean electricity prices, CNX's part share in the Mulpun project should prove to be at least as profitable as any of its other current project options, if not more. Just to highlight the commercial significance of the Mulpun Energy JV, it calculates 30% of a 300MW plant to have an NPV of $244m - almost double CNX's current MC alone.
