I think that's what Cliff would like us to think. Banks won't be putting anything up until it's derisked and terms and prices won't be set until they are ready. This is smokescreen and delaying tactics only imo while trying to find other suitors to either buy MAK at a price that AD and Cliff like or at least a large backer to come in and give MAK some balance against the two big backers UCL already have.

The fact is that discussions with financiers have been underway for ages, initial term offers have already been issued so there is interest and pathways for negotiation and we know through UCL that there are monied interests already backing it. There is no reason whatsover to not be pushing to get this thing up as soon as final permits are in place. It's derelict management for MAK to be trying to hold things up yet again - Sandpiper would be well into construction but for their early machinations which delayed the joint venture considerably.

Cliff may know what he's talking about but he's a Maquarie Bank operator, a school of opportunists skilled at parcelling things up to the benefit of the select few. No small shareholder should trust anyone from that background until they actually do something in our interests. That has not happened yet and here he seems to be saying he is working to slow things down. I'm starting to get cranky thinking about it! Better not to think about it for the moment and hope the next move plays out soon to see where this is going.
