It's disappointing that with three days to go shareholders have no idea if the exercising of the option is going to go ahead. The ASX continuous disclosure rules mean the company cannot sit on any news deemed to be material. Thus there can only be two possibilities, deal still being worked through or there is no deal to be had. Sort of the corporate equivalent of Schrodinger's cat. If no deal is to be had, it'd be very disappointing that existing shareholders didn't have the chance to fund.
