clearly sonnen won the first round he took silva down nicely moved into the half guard and even got the mount at one stage
all the while he was palm healing silva and dropping the occassional bomb
But the second round was a distaster Sommen tried a number of takedowns with little success. He then tried to do something silly He tried a spinning backfist!!! It was obviously something he had not trained for. He actually fell over silva saw an opening as he was on the ground and slipped in a knee to sonnen's head emd of story
sonnen should have stuck to his game Even though he failed in his two takedown attempts he should have kept at it
I suppose silva made him play his game, a game where he is easily the best in the world
i saw it in bar full of what I think were brazillians judging from the screaming and cheering Either that or it could have been aussi's who had only heard of silva
If they had heard sonnen talk smack they would have loved him and would have been cheering for him like I was
