My thoughts too.
You only have to look at the huge differences between us and our primate cousins, and the number of amazing mutations responsible for them, to suspect that it was much more than random evolution.
We were selectively bred for a purpose. What that purpose is, is open to conjecture, but I suspect it has something to do with "the war in heaven".
