    99.99% of us believe in causality because that's our everyday experience. If a thing exists, it exists because of its causal component(s). eg. a tree exists because of seed, water, nutrients, sunlight.

    Therefore, we all tend to believe a universe exists because some kind of 'first cause' existed prior to it (prime mover argument). God is the word we use for that prime mover. We use that word even though we don't know what it is or what it means. As far as we know, God might be consciousness or dark matter or.... anything. I prefer the world 'Life' to 'God', because it's all-inclusive.

    There's no need for a separate God. God is what's writing this post, God is the computer screen, God is you who are reading the post, it's the internet.... everything, all happening at once. Causality may be an appearance only, much like time and space.
