    To me, fundamental means foundational. A tree is not fundamental because it requires a space in which to exist and a time period over which it can exist. Therefore, space & time are fundamental to trees, not vice versa. Except that space & time are not ultimately fundamental! Consciousness may be the ultimate building block.

    All I have heard is that 'future humans' may be trying to avert a disaster like WW3 or AI going nutso. They have to avert it in order to survive themselves. Since they have survived, that means they must have been successful, lol. Coulthart is talking a lot about blue-cloured aliens lately. Maybe watched Avatar one too many times.
