We can make all sorts of claims that we are just fragments in the mind of God, or some kind of failed spiritual consciousness that just can't get away from sinning, but humanity in truth has never ceased the endless search for the conditional state we allude to as the kingdom of heaven; we have never ceased the journey towards this state, nor have we ever been closer than we are today.
When you have a physical form evolving from the cauldron of nature so that it has the capacity to manipulate the very nature it arose from and then have coupled to this creature a spiritual aspect then you have a dance of instinct, self, ego vs a potentially higher self and this takes a long time to make progress because the outcome is only an outcome if it's a group achievement. The universe has little interest in individuals.
