Jesus: “Those who seek should not stop seeking until they find. When they find,
they will be disturbed. When they are disturbed, they will marvel, and will reign over all. And after they have reigned they will rest”.
Enlightenment or 'Christ consciousness' is about seeking one's own death and letting go of everything that is cherished. As mentioned, it's
not a physical death - not death of the body or mind. Enlightenment is death of the self-image.
Jesus again! "...do the works I have been doing, and they will do
even greater things than these". He's clearfly not putting himself up as a figure to worship. He's saying anyone can become enlightened. "Ye are Gods".
-> Greater things -> Jesus comes to the Temple, the Fathers house and they are using it for all sorts, so he tosses over the tables etc, go get you buggers.
