How long does it take to move along a 1D object (a line)? Whatever your answer, it's a unit of time. So...time definitely exists in 1D, just as it exists in 2D, 3D and 4D. Therefore, time is not the 4th dimension. It's obvious.
Dimensions are dimensions of space-time. Strangely, a tesseract (4D object) moving through our 3D world looks a lot like a UFO. How about that eh?!
