What I found really weird was that immediately after I asked the question, the answer to which was a person's name, I thought of a different name many times over and over in my head, and the glass went to random letters which made no sense.
As soon as I stopped actively thinking of the incorrect name and let my mind go blank the glass spelled out the correct name.
It was as if the "spirit", or whatever, was trying to read my mind and was blocked when my mind was active, but was able to read it when my mind was in neutral. Very spooky!
