I think I was. In my early teens I made a commitment to God and Jesus Christ at a Billy Graham crusade, but I came from a family of agnostics/atheists, and at work I was surrounded by people who I suspect were atheists, so I was slowly drifting towards agnosticism.

My faith was weak and it was during that period that I had the séance experience, and out of curiosity I also had a session with a spiritualist.

However a few years later, a few things happened that caused me to rethink and strengthen my faith, and then about a decade ago I had some significant experiences that really confirmed my faith. It's been all good since then.
