@wotsup - I am sorry I turned my computer on, but here goes - my version is different, yes I was rude to the lady knitter - and apologised - but she decided to stay in a humpffff - I then realised that she was cold-shouldering said poster who misunderstood, perhaps still does not understand what was going on - and she had done it before to same poster, hence my intervention. YOu, at that stage were only a very occasional visitor, but my 'friend' had had words with you on this thread, or disagreements - I never delved deeply enough into the 'god' argument you or he put on here. I won't mention him by name, pls. do the same (don't mention him)
This is just by way of explanation, why another poster got involved.

The original argument, which was only a slight hint by me in order to get the new poster accepted - and it was all about boring dishwashers -
is by now totally forgotten, and everyone has a different version, as usual - if you have a large family, you will know how differently stories are treated after even a short time.
I soon realised how silly it all was, and what a waste of my time on earth that thread was.You wrote alternatively friendly and nasty posts to me - I believe I was always true to myself, except that one slip to the lady knitter - who - in the past - had been very grateful to me, for pointing out certain facts about a personal relationship of hers - which she mended. I regret that one slip-up. because I am not unkind by nature, rather the opposite.
I have had a rough time so many times in this life, that I probably do not realise there are those around who have been able to immunise themselves from life to such an extent, that a small slight feels like a deep injury - I hope she stays in her cloister until she dies, it's a rough world out here.

Also being a confessing Christian should imply tolerance and forgiveness - and as I have found at times, those loudly proclaiming their faith often have deep failings.
    Not for me to judge.
I am calling this a day
Have a good Sabbath Day or Sunday - and a good week.
