We've been so brainwashed into believing that UFOs and aliens are the stuff of crazy people, that even when high quality videos are captured, the reaction of most seems to be, "Nah ... fake, Photoshop, CGI, it's a bird, it's an insect," etc.
The problem is they seem to zip around so fast that unless a camera is pointed in exactly the right direction and running, it's impossible to get good videos of them, and when someone does happen to video them, people refuse to accept that they might be UFOs. Bright lights in the night sky can be anything and it's reasonable to be skeptical.
65% of Americans believe that intelligent extraterrestrials exist somewhere in the universe, but only 50% believe UFOs are extraterrestrial. If extraterrestrials are here, then as long as they keep a low profile and don't start vaporizing cities, etc, no one will give a damn.
