    What I meant was that IF everything was clear-cut, then there would be no need for faith and endless discussion about God or no God, and creation or abiogenesis.
    Assuming I know what you mean, I agree
    We'd be living in an autocracy with God as the undisputed supreme ruler and we'd all know the consequences of disobeying him, just as pet animals tend to know the consequences of disobeying their strict masters.
    I think that you are putting the attributes of a human dictator on God. Surely God, if he exists and if he really created us and the universe, can make his existence obvious without being a dictator and having to treat us like pets.
    I suggest that the fact that no God has made his existence obvious to us is a strong possibility that he doesn't exist.
