@float^ All very interesting 'ideas' (for the moment) - but I am busy coping with my one-dimensional world.*
I go to a weekly 'Philosophy' discussion group and new scientific discoveries were talked about, especially about the 'mini' universe (my awkward description of what is happening at places like CERN) which will fundamentally change our present understanding of 'matter' etc.
* But refer to my first sentence . . . . well, really: three spatial dimensions (length, width and depth) and one time dimension - and that is hard to cope with - I am still trying to understand the concept that 'time' bends
But maybe we really are like those critters in a very clever cartoon, where we see a collection of crabs in a puddle with a dog dipping its large black nose into the puddle and the 'preacher crab' saying to the assembled multitude: 'Raise your Claws and worship the Great Black One who has appeared as he has done since time immemorial!'
(or similar, I can't find the cartoon)
