As I mentioned in one of my previous posts, TLW does have a get out of jail clause without having to pay a penalty; and that is if Ching drops to 50%. I am trying to get an understanding as to what this 50% means. Reference AFR.
Other than this, they would be paying a10% penalty. If that happens, HDR's price will drop to probably back to pre t/o of 1.20, but financially it will be in pretty good shape with an extra 140 mil in the bank. It's better than a placement!
I do agree that it is unlikely that they will pull out as it is Uganda that they want and I think that they want it badly especially now that the Chinese ar in there!
