    The announcement of a possible buyback of the hybrids was just a foil to take the pressure off them.

    If I was a PPX secured creditor, I'd be feeling very worried. There is NO way a secured creditor will give PPX the latitude to buy hybrids.

    The co is at the mercy of the banks and they don't have to do anything with the hybrids.
