    It amazes me what perception people have of power stations.
    Peter Martin wrote in Sunday Morning Herald P35 that mega stations
    in La Trobe and Hunter Valleys spew smoke and ash. Unless something has
    changed dramatically, nearly 100% of what is visible coming out of the stacks
    at Liddell & Ravensworth in the Hunter is white, because it is steam. Carbon dioxide
    happens to be invisible and I'm sure if there was even a hint of smoke or ash, the
    authorities would be on to it in a flash. It is easy with a bit of photo shopping to
    change the colour of something, but that doesn't change what it really is.
