NWM,
Im gobsmacked at the reaction to this post ...
yes a tragedy for all involved. but give me a break with all the sanctimonious sermonising and nonsensical rantings about the nature of the media.
surely wiser heads will note that i made no comment on anything in or about that story. how dumb do you think i am.? the header merely draws attention to the fact that this is a mammoth story in the context of the zeal subsidiary within motopia. The company required crisis management and indeed silver appears to have confirmed that's what's happened. Although I certainly hope he's freelancing here, because he hasnt earned his consulting fee today if the reaction he's garnered from me is any guide to hosing down an issue.
full disclosure is important. Just what do we think is supposed to happen on hot copper, we all stay quiet and pretend nothing has happened because we know X, Y or Z is a good guy? or because if we shut up MVH might weather the storm better. come on! grow up.
As a shareholder its concerning when the company you think is about to make great strides in the US finds itself embroiled in any sort of controvery. its even worse when its your go-to guy for a big part of your business is apparently in the sights of the police in such circumstances. yes i also hope all is resolved and soon. I hope the story is found to be exactly the way silver has called it tonight. That still wouldnt mean there's no repercussions though! believe me ive waited long enough for mvh to come good so i have no interest in bagging the company.
the fact remains its the lead story on one of the main websites in australia. if that's not worth pointing out to shareholders in mvh on a stockmarket forum then i'll go he. its in the public domain. its material. and it's a worry.
silver appears to have the company line well in hand and that's fine. that's EXACTLY what crisis management is. And, byt the way, shooting the messenger is all part of the process.
Unfortunately, for our man it appears now all up to the vagaries of the US justice system.
Company should and will close ranks, but they also need to assure shareholders that ZEAL's ability to operate in US is not impeded by this apparent incident. Announcement required Monday morning.
that's the last you'll hear from me on the subject (well until MVH is .75 and I'm leaving hot copper for good) lol
