Those co.s would hold shares in many miners like ARU. They would consider ARU as high risk investments, which would form about 1-5% of their total portfolio investment (which would be in the hundred millions/billions plus). It means Jack sh** if high profile co's invest like this in ARU, to them its pocket change.
They can also manipulate the share price to make a quick buck for themselves and their share holders.
