uhd & streaming

Wini raised this question in another thread. And I consider it a very interesting industry question overall and good topic of discussion.

"It looks like we are not far from 4K definition being the norm and BluRay going the way of VHS and DVD as it gets cheaper."

As Wini correctly points out, there is absolutely no doubt that UHD will become the norm and probably a lot sooner then we all think.

Which will push HD further down the ranks of consumer first choice along with, BluRay,DVD and VHS.

Especially as the price of a UHD TV drops, which consumers will want in bigger numbers just as they have with HD TVs

Also interestingly and just announced last week, new range of UHD TVs starting to roll out by Sony, LG, Samsung etc will all have the Netflix UHD App and UHD chips required to decode the streaming UHD signal pre installed on their TVs.

Netflix has stated they will start streaming UHD content in 2014.

Any word yet from QFX if they will support UHD streaming and content in the near future?
