Gents,
I had retail offer renunciation back on 28/nov/11 which is the money received from selling my entitlement 12 new shares for 7 shares hold from ERA
Now Tax office asked me to pay tax on that even though I explained to them that is the capital gain tax.
I paid some interest on margin lending last FY, could I offset this money from ERA? I could not claim interest paid in the tax return because I have no dividend for the year.
Are you on the same boat or any advice will be appriciated
