Um, settle down and put the cheerleader pom poms away, I'm not downramping, I'm a believer and holder of XPE. Just pointing out that the currency effect would make the deal that much more attractive now, which people should be aware of, so in my opinion its not just about IoT. Its even mentioned in the WSJ article:

" The ARM deal also comes less than a month after the U.K.’s decision to leave the European Union pushed down the value of the pound, potentially making British companies much more attractive bargains for buyers from overseas."

I'm sure Softbank are very interested in IoT and that's the main factor behind this deal, but you'd be naive to think the currency effect didn't factor in their decision to buy now.

And its just my opinion ffs.
