I'm rewatching A Dance to the Music of Time for the nth time.
It's just one of the most captivating series I've ever seen. It begins around 1930, then follows the fortunes of a group of young men from their school days (Eton?) through to wartime and beyond, tracing their individual rises and falls.
It might be on one of the streamers.
Highly recommended.
