Then I watched 'Mo", a movie starring Julie Walters as the British Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, Mo Molan, who played a prominent role in the Northern Ireland peace settlement, before Tony Blair stepped in to take the credit for it. And all this she did while struggling with a brain tumor and radiotherapy.
A performance among her very best and considering she first came to prominence with Educating Rita about 50 years ago, no mean achievement.
The good ones go on & on. Just reading she equals Judi Dench with 7 Bafta nominations.
