After watching The Barking Murders on Brit Box, I can understand how people in Scotland today on BBC News were so incensed after police had failed to catch anybody for 21 serial killings The police attitudes displayed in the Barking Murders mini series were just, well, unbelievable. A never ending litany of excuses for inaction like "still waiting for toxicology" seemed to go on forever, while people.couldnt get bodies released for burial. In the meantime, they had arrested the killer on a minor charge and he'd served a short sentence and been released. Reality seems to be mimicking fiction.
