The Legend of Ben Hall

Good movie, good Aussie production and well worth viewing
On SBS on Demand I think it is.

My late bro in law had a sheep & cattle property on the Lachlan River between Crookwell and Boorowa.
His house was mid 20th century but it was next to the old house which was certainly Ben Hall vintage.
Legend had it that Ben Hall and his gang holed up there for a while and also hid out among the huge boulders on top of the big hill on the other side of the river. A couple of such scenes were featured in the movie.
The final scene is brutal to watch but postscript tells us that he had sustained about 30 bullet wounds.
