On a scale of from.occasionally to frequently, I go back and visit something that has given me great pleasure. And no I'm not referring to a lover from my distant past, I'm talking about a movie or a series rich in its writing and served up by a great cast. Take a plot and much of the dialogue by Charles Dickens, sprinkle liberally with a mixture of Paul Scofield, John Mills, Tom Wilkinson, Julia Sawalha, Pete Postlethwaite, Maggie Steadman and others, and what you get is many hours of guaranteed pleasure in a great adaptation of the novel Martin Chuzzlewit. Probably one of the best Dickens adaptations ever.
