They've done a great job in transitioning this iconic series from Nicola Walker, who made series 1-4 her own, to deliver the same level of interest and suspense with the new lead actor. It helps of course that the rest of the cast remains the same (I think). So hopefully we look forward to a few more series, because for me this has been the best crime investigation in a long time.
