A huge production in the Hollywood tradition but made mostly in Spain, with Leam Neeson as the iconic private eye Christopher Marlowe. It's a visual feast and moves slowly allowing viewers plenty of time to take it all in. I've been a fan of Raymond Chandler's stories for a long time, mainly through old radio productions and the occasional old movie ànd it's great to see the 1930s-40s being revisited in such a huge way. 0n SBS on Demand.
