A Royal Affair I started watching this maybe a week ago and gave it a miss. It wasn't doing much for me then, but I went back and watched it again last night and enjoyed it. Just shows how your mood of the time can influence how you judge a movie. I should have liked it. It's a costume drama and I'm into anything historical usually. Plus it had Mads Mikkelsen in the lead, who I first saw in that Danish crime series Unit 1 (?) years ago and liked his performance there. And the female lead Alicia Vikander is lovely. According to the credits it's based on true events in 18th century Denmark during the reign of Christian VII which centre on Enlightenment ideas vs the ancien regime.
