Now this is a GREAT movie imo, though in saying that it may just be the almost-genre that appeals to me. It's a rom-com, with a seasoning of drama in the form of the child of her dead sister coming to live with Martha. Add to that a dash of culinary experiences, because Martha is a chef who works impossible hours to be caring for a child. Then we have the romance with the Italian assistant chef who brings the young girl out of the deep place she had retreated to. Very enjoyable, more than that even. And a German movie without darkness.
