50 is the new 30 (Marie-Francine) An enjoyable French comedy/drama I was some way into it before I was asking "have I seen this before". I had but it was worth seeing again Star & Director Valerie Lemercier is adorable.
Sophie's Choice Meryl Streep is a genuine star actress. She has all the skills and still some. But I've never warmed to her. I'm sure that's a great disappointment to her. I feel it's a real shame she has lent her great stature to celebrity politics as they are now. For me this film took a hell of a long time to get to its point. It did everything well except the tempo.
