I don't give a tinker's cuss what anybody thinks, Miss Potter is the only movie that has twice brought me near to tears.
Renee Zellweger gives a marvellous performance as the beloved Beatrix Potter who gave so much to the world in childrens books, botanical research and land conservation.
The movie of course only set out to cover the main events of the early part of her long and fruitful life but it did so very well.
I'll now have to get out the box set of her animated stories that I used to watch over & over with my grandson and have a really deep sentimental wallow.
